Paul and Tyler
Our Founders
Paul is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aligned. Prior to founding Aligned Paul worked at Google as a Product Director in Long-Term Bets organization focusing on Google's GenAI efforts.

Aligned is Paul's second startup, in 2016 he co-founded Stockwell, a computer vision-based retail checkout automation company, which he sold in 2020.
​
From 2003-2016 Paul worked as product manager and software engineer at Google where he built and launched Google Checkout, App Engine, Google Consumer Surveys and ran the GMail product team.
Tyler is the Co-Founder and COO of Aligned. He has spent the last decade as VP of Operations at retail-focused technology startups, overseeing high-growth market expansion.
Tyler started his career as the first employee at Stockwell, an AI-driven retail company that was acquired in 2020. Tyler led the company's nationwide expansion and oversaw all US operations.
In 2016, Tyler earned his PhD in computational biology from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, developing genomics tools for diagnosing and treating cancer and other complex diseases.
