Hill Climbing to Better Data
Our standard SFT workflow will combine SFT demonstrations (writing golden prompts/response pairs) with RLHF side-by-side ratings. We start with a demonstration written by a human and one written by an LLM, compare them side-by-side and ask raters to tell us why they chose the response. That data is then fed back into the writing tools where workers make edits based on the feedback. This cycle continues until the written response can’t be improved.
Model Evaluation Platform
Our standard RLHF workflow also serves as an evaluation platform. We can inject responses written by SOTA LLMs into our jobs and then conduct round-robin rating ‘battles’ between the prompt/pairs provided by our clients and responses written by any set of models selected by our clients. The end result is a ELO based leaderboard and win/loss table comparing the model outputs
