What are the requirements to become a certified Aligned expert?
To become a certified Aligned expert, you'll need to:
1. Complete onboarding: Sign up for an Aligned account, verify your phone number, verify your identity, and provide your professional expertise and credentials.
2. Verify your experience and credentials: Our team will review your background and assign you to relevant expert categories. We may request supporting documentation for specific credentials.
3. Complete an expert assessment: For each approved area of expertise, you'll take a skills assessment to become verified for paid jobs.
What types of projects can I expect to work on as an Aligned expert?
The types of projects you're assigned will depend on your verified areas of expertise and the evolving needs of our clients. There are a handful of job types that are common across all areas of expertise.

How do I get paid for my work?
To qualify for paid jobs, you must first create and verify your Stripe account through your Aligned account. Payments are processed every two weeks. Once you've completed a project, your earnings will be securely transferred to your Stripe account on the next payment cycle.
How does Aligned match experts with relevant projects?
For each new project we compare the historical job quality, historical job speed, and current pay rate for all experts with verified areas of expertise required by the project. We will then assign the highest scoring experts to the project based on the combination of job quality, job speed, and pay rate.
